Help Us Meet The Need
The shortage of masks and shields for healthcare centers continues to be an issue, particularly for those serving medically underserved communities. Our volunteers are dedicated to creating PPE and we have the relationships with health care facilities to deliver them directly to where they are needed.
But we need funding to make that all happen. Will you help?
As an organization run purely by volunteers, we have no overhead. Donations are tax deductible and any size donation is appreciated.
Health care workers take care of us, so let's take care of them.
We Love In-Kind Donations
We started as a few concerned entrepreneurs banding together to address the need. Bryn Walker gave us enough fabric for our first 5,000 masks and provided whatever we needed to get started.
Today, we continue to rely on the generosity of businesses to help with in-kind donations. Do you have cotton fabric remnants or hotel linens? Large cardboard cartons? PPE you would like help donating such as hand sanitizer, gloves or protective coveralls? Contact us.
Thank you to our generous partners!
Donations for It Takes A Village are tax-deductible through our fiscal sponsor, Oakland-based TMC COMMUNITY CAPITAL, a 501c3, EIN:82-5204018. TMC Community Capital is a non-profit online microlender empowering low income women entrepreneurs.
