Who We Are

Over 200 volunteers from across the San Francisco Bay Area are working together to supply washable fabric masks and face shields to local hospitals and other medical facilities during this moment of need.

Counties all around the Bay have now made universal masking mandatory. The need for washable fabric face masks is HUGE. There aren't enough to go around - not for all the doctors, nurses and the other 85% of the non-clinical employees who work at hospitals and medical facilities.

That’s where It Takes A Village is making a critical difference.

Since early March, we have donated over 22,000 masks and assembled 5,000 face shields - delivering them directly to the loading docks of local hospitals. Our Goal is 50,000 masks and 5,000 face shields. We need your help. Donations of any size will help support the costs of fabric and materials needed to make the personal protective equipment (PPE).
